Saleisha Stowers: America’s Next Topmodel
Saleisha Stowers was born on the 20th of January 1986. She is 31 years old and raised up in Los Angeles, United States. In an Interview she said that she had a rough life growing up. She grew up with her grandmother in Madera, California. With the age of 14, she attended Camp T-Zone, a show made by Tyra Banks’, which should give young girls self-esteem. Saleisha used to work as as a receptionist in Los Angeles. Before she joined cycle 9 of Americas next topmodel, Stowers was signed with Photogenics Model Management and had also appeared in a commercial for the fast-food restaurant Wendy’s, with actor Tom Lenk. She used to model for brands like DOMIJ clothing, and d.e.m.o. She was part of the TV series Ugly Betty and two episodes of the Tyra Banks Show, modeling for Rami, Project Runway season four contestant. Stowers also had a little role in the “Welcome Back” music video, and was face of a 24 Hour Fitness advertisement. She was recruited for America’s Next Top Model, which she subsequently won.
