She went to the Prosper High School in Texas and admits that she was bullied due to her height and slim figure. When she first appeared in the show she also ruled the headlines all over the world because of her very slim figure, she is 1.88 m high and is not heavier than 45 kg. Tyra Banks earned many critics for letting her win. Critics say it is a wrong message to younger girls. After her victory she walked on fashion shows all over the world, for designers like Roberto Cavalli or Vivienne Westwood.
