History of Fendi: Italian tradition, furs & Lagerfeld’s ‘Haute Fourrure
The Fendi fashion label looks back on a long history. The fur and leather goods distributor was founded by the married couple Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1917. It took almost two decades until the first fashion show took place in 1932. After the death of the founding couple, the family business was divided between the five daughters Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda. In 1965 they hired the German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as Creative Director. After his death, one of his heiresses, Silvia Venturini Fendi, followed in his footsteps and still runs the Italian luxury brand today.

For the XXL fashion show in Shanghai, both collections were presented together for the first time in the history of the fashion house. The location was the unique Powerlong Museum in Shanghai. Baguette Friends Forever: campaign with Sarah Jessica Parker & Caro Daur
One of the most famous parts of the Italian fashion house is the Fendi Baguette – a dazzling handbag and the eternal favorite of many a big city girl. The campaign consists of several videos featuring multiple international and local celebrities. One of the biggest Pop Ups Fendi can be found in Dubai. More precisely, in the Dubai Mall. For this, extra small figures were made, dressed with the exclusive Fashion Fendis and thus provided that certain extra in the Pop Up Shop. Fendi loves the world of cinema and dedicated a complete exhibition to it at Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the Fendi headquarters in Rome, Italy. Here the different films of Fendi are shown. For the opening, of course, only the crème de la crème of the fashion world came.
