Chanel – French fashion empire full of history & tradition

The luxury brand was founded in 1914 by Gabriele ‘Coco’ Chanel. The Frenchwoman saw the light of day in Paris on August 19, 1883. After early strokes of fate, the then twelve-year-old girl ended up in an orphanage, which she left at the age of sixteen to pursue her dream as a designer and seamstress. Today her fashion brand Chanel is one of the most important fashion houses in history.
